Searching for info on John Dickerson, b NC abt 1795. Married a Cherry, unknown last name. Children:
Isaac, b 1841 in Carroll Co., TN
Thomas, b 1828 in NC
Demsey b 1827 in NC
Nancy b 1834 in NC
Mary b 1836 in NC
According the the birth dates of their children, it is apparent that they migrated to Carroll Co., TN after 1836, but before 1841. They are listed in the Carroll Co., TN 1850 Census: John, 55; Cherry, 45; Thomas, 22; Nancy, 16; Mary 14, Isaac, 10. NC NC Cr-1748-263.
I do not know who John's parents were or where in NC he was born. Does anyone have any clues about this family? I have lots of descendant info that I am willing to share.
