Yes, I think there is a good possibility that this is the same John Dickerson. He has 5 children that I am aware of: Isaac, b 8/9/1841 in Carroll Co., TN d 9/27/1925 in Carroll co, TN, married Sarah Elizabeth ? in 1863 in Carroll Co, TN. (this is my line); Thomas b 5/7/1828 in NC d 7/5/1891 in Carroll co, TN; Demsey b 1827 in NC; Nancy b 1834 in NC, amd Mary b 1836 in NC, married David May on 10/22/1850 in Carroll Co., Tn.
Are you related to Thomas Dickerson? He is buried in mcCauley Cemetery in Carroll co., TN. Also, John Dickerson's wife was named Cherry, but I can't find her last name. Email me and we can trade info if this is your line.
