I posted the original note in this line but somehow I came out as Zachariah. Sorry.
I have a gap between "Z" and Thomas T. Dickerson, my gggrandfather who was married to Jane E. Higge(i)nbotham on 2/28/1850. Their son, Elijah Thomas Dickerson, b.1/20/1853, married Annie E. Ginn and was my ggrandfather. Their son, Paul Earl Dickerson married Nellie Emma Dickerson, from the William Dickerson line (w. Sarah Brown), and was my grandfather. I think Thomas T.'s father was named James, but not sure. The family link was provided, in the csnsus records, by Patsy Rucker, first a kitchen slave prior to 1870 and then listed in 1870 as a kitchen servant in the Dickerson household of Hart County, Georgia. Her birthplace was Virginia as was "Z"'s. If any of this stirs some recognition in anyone's mind, I would appreciate an E-Mail.
