Willis Dickerson and wife Elizabeth Ledbetter
were in Jones County MS. My recrods indicate 10 children. Eliza (b.ca1816) who married John S Calahan; Wiley J (b.ca1818 d supposedly in Jasper Co) who married Susannah Jacobs; Louisa (b ca 1820 [my ancestor]) who married William H Fairchild; Charity (b 26 FEB 1822, d 03 FEB 1891) married Washington S Tisdale; Rachel (b ca 1823) married Hansford Dundan Dossett; Lydia (b ca 1825) married Jeptha Rush, John Pittman, Issac Folkes; Eleanor (b ca 1828) married Issac Folkes; Eveline (b ca 1835) married Abraham Byran McLemore; Mary Matilda (b 08 OCT 1837) married James William Grayson; and John W. (b ca 1839 died in CW) married Nancy Page;
There are some Dickersons in Greene County. Have some information on them from the Library in Jackson County.
