It's about 80 miles (through the swamps). I am aware that there is a Dickerson population there but am unaware of any connection to my family. I am going to Mississippi next weekend and will quiz some older family members about connections to the other pockets of Dickersons around the state (Smith, Pike, Lowndes counties) I'll post when I come back.
