My great-gf was AJDickerson,farmer in Nelson Co..His father was Wm Dickerson who m Rebecca Ortkeise. In 1850 census,Wm,age 80,reportedly born in MD,was living with son Thomas in Nelson Co.Ky. We cannot verify Wm.s birthplace.
