Hello,
I have a George Washington Owen b. NC 1801 m. Martha S. Dickerson b. 1805, in Barren Co.,KY Sept. 8, 1825. The 1850 census lists Martha born in KY. They had 7 children, and one was Christopher Columbus Owen b.KY 1829. They mvoed to Benton Co.,MO before 1847. Their gr.grandson is still alive at 97 and most of my information came from him. I have names,dates etc. for all 7 children but I need help with the parents of GW as well as Martha. My source didn't seem to know. :o)
Looking forward to hearing from you. I have a message out to Dickerson's of Barren Co., KY and waiting for an answer.
