Hi I am trying to find more info on my Great Grandfather and grandmother. James Jonathan Dickerson was born 1867 and died 1959 in Bloomington IL. He might have been born in Smyth County VA like his sister Sara Margaret Peters. He married Cordia Hickman but she and the baby died in 1908 during birth. They had Charles, Rachel, Bertha, Minnie Bell and Lily prior to her death. He traveled back to her family and took her cousin Sarah Jane Hickman for his wife. Together they had Mary Ann, Edward, Ada May, Wanda, Leona, Alvin and Lula Jean.
Sarah lived from 1882-1966 part in Missouri and Illinois. She died and is buried in Park Hill Cemetery Bloomington Il next to James. I would like more info on his parents. I also have no information on Cordia's parents. Sarah Jane Hickman's parents were Garret and Nancy Anderson Dickerson.
