My gg-grandmother, Ann Dickerson, who married Absalom Sanders was the daughter of a Joseph Dickerson and Ann Browne both of whom were born in North Carolina. It is possible there is a relationship with your forebear. She was born in 1813 in Franklin County, Georgia and the family later moved to Jefferson County, Alabama where she met and married my gg-grandfather. She and her husband moved to Attala County, Mississippi in the 1850s. She had at least one brother who moved to Louisiana. Her grandfather was John Dickerson.
