I have a brick wall with William Dickerson, born ca 1790 - 1800. He married Linny/Jenny MARDERS in King George County in 1821.
William died between 1845 - 1850. According to the 1850 census, their children were:
Elizabeth, born ca 1825
John H., born ca 1883, married to Sarah Berry first and then Mary Columbia Scott
Susan, born ca 1837
Ann, born ca 1838
Vinton, born ca 1840, married to Agnes Scott
Sarah J, born ca 1844
Thomas, born ca 1845
Seeking info on William's ancestry...he may be from Caroline County as it is right over the border from where the Dickersons lived in King George. Also seeking any info on his descendants. I have Vinton's line, as that is mine. Some time during the late 1800's, the family name was changed to DICKINSON.
