Hi, I am having such trouble with this family line. My grandfather was born in 1904 in Fayette County, WVA...in Hico. He was born on the 25th of November. I know the names of both his parents...first off his name was Forest Love Dickerson, Sr. His mother was Maud(e) Evelyn McClung and I pretty much know her family line, but it's her husband that is ellusive to me. His dad's name was John Michael Wesley Dickerson and he was born in 1843 in Appomattox County, VA. He was a Confederate soldier in the Civil War. His parents were William F. and Mary Jane Dickerson.
I believe she was a Maddox. I don't know past this information on my Dickerson line...I do know Mary Jane's genealogy though. Could someone please help me with this...?
