Unfortunately, I don't have much. Jane Dickerson was african-american and, again, was born in or around the small town of Raphine in Virginia. I believe she was born around 1905 give or take a couple of years. Her mother's name was Elizabeth but I am told that people called her "Eliza" or "Liza." They may also have called her Lizzie but I believe that Elizabeth was her given name. I have heard anecdotally that the women then in that area married young, so Elizabeth might have been born around 1890 give or take a few. Jane married a man named Hessie Cabble around 1922 and they moved to Staunton Virginia.
