Jeanne, I am a direct descendant of Thomas b.1643 but not through Joshua. I have never seen a reference of Thomas having a wife Abigail. Everything I have seen has been either Elizabeth or Isabella (possibly Gambray maiden name). I show his son Joshua as being born in 1689 but I have nothing else on that Joshua descent. Have you had any luck on discovering Thomas's father? There are many theories but to date no bonafide proof that I am privy to. My descent put many cousins in Texas beginning after 1840. There are also many in Oklahoma so I wish you luck. Bill Dickerson, NH
