Daniel,

What a wealth of Dickerson information!! It seems you and my husband have the same line through Ransom Dickerson and Rhody Staton. You come from Isham and my husband from his brother Samuel. The family information passed to my husband from his mother is as follows:

Samuel Walker Dickerson b. 1/22/1813
married 1st Sarah Dement b. 1815
Children of Samuel and Sarah:
Melinda Susan Dickerson
Alexander Walker Dickerson
*Samuel Thomas Dickerson b. 9/29/1841
Martha Ann Elizabeth Dickerson
Andrew Jackson Dickerson
Lucy Frances Dickerson
Mildred "Millie" Jane Dickerson
Rufus Dodson Dickerson
Sarah Lee Dickerson

Samuel Walker Dickerson married 2nd. Sarah Jane Tippett
Children of Samuel and Sarah Jane:
Loura Greshon Dickerson
Della Longmire Dickerson
Alice Brummitt Dickerson
Betty Hicks Dickerson
Buck Dickerson
Jim James Walker Dickerson
Carrie Hicks Dickerson
Walter Dickerson
John Henry Dickerson

Seems like an awfully lot of children!!!

*Samuel Thomas Dickerson b. 9/29/1841 d. 11/4/1922
married Amelia Arabella Brummitt
Children of Samuel Thomas and Amelia
Junious C. Dickerson b. 9/17/1870
Robert Tully Dickerson b. 5/17/1872
Alexander "Alex" W. Dickerson b. 7/07/1875
Willard Young Dickersosn b. 2/11/1877
Samuel "Dock" Eural Dickerson b. 2/02/1879
Lillie Jocelyn Dickerson b. 5/27/1881
Minnie Maye Dickerson b. 6/12/1883
Lucius Grover Dickerson b. 6/03/1885
Roy Booth Dickerson b. 10/02/1887
*Thomas Ebby Dickerson b. 11/23/1889

Thomas Ebby Dickerson was my husband's grandfather.

In looking at your notes, it appears my mother-in-law may have skipped an earlier generation. She showed the father of Samuel Walker b. 1813 as William Dickerson b. 1780 and Millie Inscoe b. 1794. Does the combination William and Millie show up anywhere in your notes?

Thanks for your help,

Judy
