My George Dickerson lived in the western part of Nelson Co. while your Wm lived in the easter part and also in Washington Co. at times.
Your Wm on the 1850 Nelson Co. Ky census has Md as his birth place.
If in any of your research you have found a connection to a W. (william??) George Dickerson I would appreciate knowing.
a court record in 1874 George stated he was born in "Sarana Co. VA". The 1850-80 census give VA as his birth place.
Your Wm Dickerson and my W. George Dickerson were the only Dickerson families in nelson Co. Ky in the 1800s.
My George m 1829, Penelope elleanor Anderson. George is young enough to be a son of your Wm but... the Ortkies records prove your Wm's children. Plus your Wm m in Mercer (I think) Co. KY
Have a letter written in 1944 where it was stated the "family came from Md via VA"
Any ideas appreciated.
