I saw your message about your HENRY DICKERSON, which I assume who is referred to as HENRY, IV. If I am correct, then this line also has twins in it. I also note you are AOL as well, and do not think we have connected before. I have HENRY DICKERSON, III (b. 10-24-1749 Prince Edward Co. m. 1768 MARY POWELL b. 1750, Amherst Co, daughter of THOMAS POWELL and ELIZABETH CLEMENTS. HENRY's WILL is available to be downloaded off of USGENWEB - Russell Co. written or probated 8-3-1825. I go thru the daughter ELIZABETH who married NATHAN ELLINGTON, SR. Their child, JERUSHA ELLINGTON, married ANDREW CALDWELL. She is named in the Will. Think your HENRY IV is named in the Will. My Mother did our families' research and has a lot of information about HENRY, who helped form Russell County when it came off of Washington Co., VA, and who served as the lst Clerk of the Court when it was placed at Dickensonville, still on the map, which I understand is now a Museum of DICKERSON memorabilia. HENRY's Ft. home is listed as a historical site (located at Castlewoods). Both the ELLINGTONS and the DICKERSONS have twins in their line. ANDREW & JERUSHA had 12 children, 6 of whom represent twins, 3 sets of them. The twin thing continues, as I am a twin and have twins. Have you contacted or met up with CBhurkh3128 (she is also AOL), is a DICKERSON (her maiden name) can download you the DICKERSON file which is sure to include your line of them. I believe the earlier generations for HENRY III goes to HENRY DICKERSON of Hanover Co., VA and believe the earlier ones go to a THOMAS and a WILLIAM from Caroline and Louisa Counties, VA.
