Greetings! I am researching our Dickerson family line. We have traced this line back to Barren County, KY.
Tonight we ran across information from the tombstone of one of our ancestors, William Harden Dickerson, that indicates he was born 29 May 1821 in Henry County, KY.
We believe that William's parents were Thomas Dickerson and Mahala ________. From later census records for William, we learn that his parents were born in VA.
1. Do you have any information on a Thomas Dickerson who would have resided in Henry County, KY in the 1790-1820 time period?
2. Do you know anyone who has conducted research on the Dickerson family in Henry County, KY whom I might contact?
