Bob,
I was talking to my brother a few days ago about Shedric Dickerson, he said that Shedric did have a daughter. He told me that he could remenber something about a dispute with her over Shedrics land when he died.
This would imply that Shedric died when my brother who was born in 1944 was old enough to remenber this. I remenber going to his fish camp with my mother and I was born in 1946. We moved from Savannah in 1963 and he died before we moved. Have you found the date of his death? If not, this will at least narrow the date of death some. My brother said he was sure that there was a daughter.
