I'm also researching the DICKERSON/DICKINSON
/DICKENSON lines in Louisa Co. Va. Perhaps
you could share some other names connected
with William? My Robert Dickenson had a
son William Dickerson/ Dickinson/ Dickenson
who moved from Louisa Co. Va. abt. 1804. This
is when he sold his land, slaves and beds to
his brother Joel Dickinson/ Dickerson my ancestor. They lived on Elk's Creek in Louisa
Co. Va. Robert's children were;
1. Ann b. 1759 m. William Bagby
2. William b. 1760 no data
3. Jonathan no data
4. Mary b. 1765 m. John Yarbrough
5. Charles b. 1767 m. Margaret moved to Augusta Co.Va.
6. James b. 1768 m. Susanna Robinson Dickinson
7. Anne b. 1767( yes there were to Ann's)
m. Reubin Chewning
8. Frances b. 1770 m. David Smith moved to Ky
9. Joel H. m. Nancy Chewning moved 1838 to
Shelby co. Mo.
10.Cosby m. Hannah A. Terry moved to Georgia
11.Hezekiah m. Frances McGeorge moved to
Breckinridge Co. Ky
12.Catherine b. June 24, 1780 m. Stephen Pollard Gooch moved to Fluvanna Co. Va.
