The Dielman you found on the ship Phoenex's passenger list was the son of Christofel.
Males over 16 years were required to swear a oath of loyalty to the United States.
Christofer (1699-1788) brought his wife, four sons and daughter from Germany 20, October 1734.Thus Dielman was over 16yr. and made the oath along with Christofel.Of interest also--
Christofer's Will;Written 12, March 1787
Proven 28, April 1788 included the following;
"ItemI give and bequeath unto my son Dillman Dickensheets, as he hath been disobedient to me one English Shilling Sterling and that shall be in full for his share of or out of my estate."
In another Item Christofer bequeaths to his grandson Christopher, son Dillman.
