I am research the ancesters of John R. Dickens or Dickins
He reared a family of eleven children. The Indians named one of his boys Chile Macintosh, an Indian name.

John R. Dickens born 25 Jan 1815, Tennessee died 23 Mar 1885, Mobile County, Alabama.
His brothers one lives in Tennessee, and the others in Georgia.
In a little country home in Southern Tennessee, he was born, the eldest of five sons of Mr. and Mrs. Jerimiah Dickens.
