William Stephen Dicken was in the Department of the Inspector-General, Indian Medical Service; Bengal Medical Service 1829-61; served in Oudh and at Lucknow as Chief Medical Officer with the Nepalese Contingent.
He had two daughters, Selina who married Alexander Maclean of Ardgour (who was born in India) and Catherine who married Henry, the 5th Marquess of Sligo.
But who was William Stephen Dicken? Does anyone have this family in their tree? He is my 2nd Great Grandfather.
