Hi Fred,
I am curious about the name "LEWIS ALLEN DICKEN" in your line. My Great Great Grandfather was named "LEWIS ALLEN DICKEN CRENSHAW". I am wondering if they are related in some way. My Lewis Allen Dicken Crenshaw was born in Tennesee in 1822 and moved to Springfield Missouri where he lived for the rest of his life. His first wife was Mary Louisa Crenshaw from Virginia. His second wife was Fannie Smith, from Tennessee.

I have heard that my line of the DICKEN family originally came from Virginia. Do you have any information as to where your DICKEN line originated from?
