I am trying to get in touch with a woman who posted a photograph that she was trying to identify. She thought it might be Isham Dicken and his wife Betsy Martin. I think her name might be Ruth (the woman who posted the picture, that is).
My aunt has a photograph that is identified on the back as Isham Dicken. Also one of his daughter Martha Ann Dicken. These were in an album belonging to Betsy's sister, Eleanor Valentia Martin Moody (my aunt's great-grandmother).
There are two photos on this website. My aunt was sent a copy about 25 or 30 years ago (by another Dicken relative) of the one that is tentatively (but incorrectly) identified as Ephraim Dicken and wife Anna. My aunt has additional information about that picture that might be of interest.
If "Ruth" reads this, please contact me. My aunt is very anxious to correspond about these photographs. Or, if anyone else knows about them, we would appreciate hearing from you. We are NOT connected to the Dicken family, except by marriage; Betsy Martin Dicken is our relative.
