I saw your query about Richard Dicken. I sent you a reply but have not heard back from you. My ancestor was Solomon Ray who was in a lawsuit with Richard Dicken in 1806 in clarke co Ga. I am trying to find why they were in a law suit. Solomon Ray married Jane Echols in 1796 in Wilkes co Ga. Tehy went to Jackson co Ga in the late 1790's and when Clarke co Ga was formed in 1801 their land was in Clarke co Ga. There was an Obediah Echols and a Milner Echols (I don't know if they were related to Jane Echols, wife of solomon Ray) and they married Sansoms in Ga and Richard Dicken married a Sansom. Can yuou send me any info about Richard Dicken? Thanks,Ross
