In the book Early Church Records of Delaware County, Vol I (which was looked up for me by a kind lady named Emily Kirkley) it has in the records of Chester Monthly Meeting (Quaker) also known as the Chichester & Upland Monthly Meeting on the Deleware River, former Chester Co. "1739 John Dicken, son of James Dicken of Merion twp. Philadelphia, County, and Martha his wife dec'd. married Ann Low, dau. of John and Jennert Low of Ridley Twp. In the same book and Meeting it lists on June 26, 1728 that John Low produced a certificate from Hartshaw Monthly Meeting in Lacashire in Great Britian for himself, wife Jennet and 6 children.
I have more detail on worldconnect.rootweb.com under John Low.
