DICKEN, Joseph, S3287, VA line, appl 27 Aug. 1832, Campbell Co. KY; soldier was born 23 March 1764 in Culpepper Co. VA & lived there at time of enlistment.

DICKEN, Richard, Elizabeth, W4179, VA line, soldier applied 23 Oct 1832, Clarke Co. GA, aged 80; soldier was born 11 Dec 1753 in VA,lived Louisa Co. VA > 1789 to Wilkes Co. GA > 1804 to Clarke Co. GA; widow appled 13 Feb 1839 Clarke Co; they were md in Louisa Co. VA (no date); soldier died 16 Dec 1833; statement of Solomon Edwards of Clarke Co. that he was present at their wedding & that they had 2 or 3 children before 1790; ref. to son Thomas Dicken.

DICKEN, William, Elizabeth, W8197, BLW #24985-160-55, NC line, soldier applied 20 Aug. 1832 Halifax Co.NC, aged 71 & soldier lived there at enlistment; widow's grandson Bradford Dicken of Hardeman Co. TN made aff'dt in support of grandmother who was living with him; widow appl 22 Nov 1853, Maury Co. TN; soldier died 17 March 1839 in Halifax Co. NC, & for BLW 24 March 1855.
