Barb: I'm researching Young/Dicken in Forest Cottage, Clinton Co., Ky. Names are Thomas Jefferson Dicken b. 1814 in Ga.; his son, Absalom Dicken, b. 1844 in Clinton Co., Ky.; Absalom's daughter, Mary Ann Dicken married Alvin Young in 1892 and they're my great-grandparents. Sorry I have very little to share before the Clinton Co., Ky information from census, but I'm sure we have a connection here between us. T.J. Dicken could be a sibling of your William from Georgia.
