I am offering corrections to ancestral file at familysearch.com based on direct family recollection and veteran's records: Alex was born 7 Apr 1833, Georgetown, OH. He died 27 Nov 1910, buried Woodlawn Cem, KS, KS. He married Charity Courtney 23 Mar 1961. Charity is dau. of Thomas Courtney b. circa 1799 in KY. Known children of Alex and Charity include: Edward b. 22 Feb 1862 KY, Elizabeth "Lizzy or Lil" b. 23 Jan 1868, twins Sarah "Sally" and Matilda Alice b. 30 May 1869. Matilda was my ggrandmother.
