Hi Alexander,
We may have an indirect link, I don't know.
I have just been sent a connected family history of my JAMES DICK b 1761 died Sept 19 1835 Glasgow married to AGNES BROWN Sept 30 1784 Abbey Paisley, daughter of ROBERT BROWN and MARGARET JAMIESON married Eastwood Renfrewshire 16 June 1753.
I am a descendant of their daughter MARGARET DICK born 14 October 1789 in Pollockshaws Glasgow. I have been sent information about her brother JAMES DICK born 28 November 1787 Buchlyvie Stirling, sailed 20 Nov 1810 from the Clyde on the ship ROBERT, landed Ocho-Rios Bay St Anna Jamaica 9 Jan 1811, died 10 June 1818 Ocho Rios Bay St Anna Jamaica buried in the 'family plot'.
I have not looked into ordering nor know where or how to order these deaths yet. Since you have a reference to Jamaica, there is always the possibility of a connection.
Hope to hear from you.
Marilyn Nelligan
