Thanks for all the information on the Scherrer, and Dick family. Elizabeth Scherrer, the daughter of Jacob Daniel Scherrer was born June 25, 1765 in Orange County, North Carolina, and died April 12, 1839 in Washington County, Illinois. She married Conrad Goodner in 1782 in Guilford County, North Carolina. Conrad Goodner was born November 29, 1756 in Germany (not sure where)and died in 1837 in Tenn. If you are interested in the family of Conrad and Elizabeth's daughter,Mary Elizabeth Goodner, who married John A Gibson and James Donnell Buchanan, please let me know. I can not E Mail you, so I will post at this message center. Mary Elizabeth Goodner was my gr gr grandmother.
