John Simpson Dick was a Weaver and the son of Alexander Dick & Agnes Simpson he was born in 1860 in Tillicoultry
He Married in 1885 Jane McDermid McBeath a Winder and the daughter of William McBeath & Mary Morrison born in 1862 in Tillicoultry
They stayed in Tillicoultry till about 1913 before moving to Innerleithan near Peebles.
They had the following children:-
Mary bn 1885
Alexander bn 1887 and died 1890 in Tillicoultry
Agnes bn 1889 married John Turner in Innerleithan 1921
Jane bn 1891 died 1941 in Innerleithan
William & John Twins born 1893 and both died within weeks of one another the following year
Robert bn 1895 died 1897 in Tillicoultry
Minnie bn 1899 still stayed in Innerleithan in the 1920’s
John bn 1905 was still staying in Innerleithan in the 1940’s
I would love to hear from anyone who had connections or further information on any of these people
