I did come across James DICK in my research, however, I am unable to link him to my own family, as yet.
Someone sent me his name, ( she was not researching the family ), said he was married to Elspet Sinclair.
That is all I found in my notes.
James did seem to show as a Witness in some Baptisms, or marriages, perhaps because he was a prominent person.
