Robert Thomas Smith m. Margaret Dick April 19, 1794 at the Kirk of St. Nicholas in Aberdeen, Scotland. Margaret Dick was christened on 1/7/1768 and her parents were Alexander Dick and Helen Tolmie (christened 10/5/1738) who were married on 8/22/1763. They also had a son name Alexander christened 4/7/1776. Helen Tolmie may be the daughter of Patrick Tolmie and Barbara Nicolson.

Sydney William Caldwell Smith is my ancestor and he married Margaret Elizabeth Anderson and they had a son named William Sydney Smith who was born in 1829 and later migrated to South Carolina and married Elizabeth Ann Purvis and moved to MS.
