While researching my ancestors David and Eva Hoye Spessert, I found that a Jacob Dick age 19 was living with them in Allegheny Co. Md. in 1850. Eva must have died sometime between 1850 and 1860 because David moved to Preston co. Virginia cause he is on the 1860 census from there. His son George was living in this county. However David is living with Jacob Dick age 29, his wife Anna age 29, and children:Rebecca, John, George and Ezra. What is the connection to the Spessert family?? Does anyone have a clue?? Thanks so much for any help you may give on this.
