just found your questions on the internet regarding the above.My grandmother was Katharina Dick, born August 30, 1865 in Sparrau, Colony Molotschna, Russia.Her parents were Claus Dick born Jan 27, 1837; married Katharina Neufeldt July 11, 1858 in Sparrau, Colony Molotschna, Russia. Died June 19, 1901 in Mountain Lake, Minn.Father: Abraham Dueck, mother Katharina.Katharina Nuefeldt was born November 17, 1838 in Sparrau, Colony Molotschna, Russia, died January 10,1917 in Mountain Lake Minn.Father Johann Neufeldt, mother Katharina Walde.
Peter C Dick was my grandmother's brother.born April11, 1873 in Sparrau, South Russia.Died October 1, 1928 in East Salem, Munich, North Dakota.Married July 7, 1901 in Ullen, Minnesota to Katharine Gossen (Goosen?).
Peter and Katharina had many siblings:Abraham C Dick b May 29, 1859, Sparrau; Jacob C Dick b Apr 15, 1861 Sparrau; Claas C Dick b Apr 13, 1862 in Spnon Malosh, South Krimea, Russia; George C Dick b Nov 29, 1867 in Sparrau; John K Dick b. March 13, 1869 - died March 19, 1869; John K Dick b Oct 26, 1870 Sparrau; Maria Dick b Dec 27, 1874 in Russia; Aaron Dick b Jun 5, 1877 d. Oct 10, 1877Born in Binham Lake, Minn; Susana Dick b May 14, 1879 in Bingham Lake, Minn.; Aaron A Dick ( I remember him well..a teacher) bFeb 21, 1882, died August 1, 1957 married Sara Sophia Voth June 24, 1909 in Carson M B Church in Mountain Lake, Minn.; Married second wife Susana Thiessen Aug 22, 1946 in Abbotsford, B C, Canada. (He homesteaded in Montanna near Lustre for many years and taught school there.. an elegant man).Lastly, another brother Henry C Dick b. July 26, 1883 in Bingham Lake, Minn and died December 8, 1943 in Walnut Creek Calif where he and his wife ran an Auto Court by the name of "White Spot".He married Tillie Siemens in Apr 15, 1906.I knew her very well, as well as their daughter Grace Dick Sommers who started the Credit and Collection Agency of Contra Costa County, Calif.Henry and Tillie ran the "Lustre Cash Store" a general store for the homesteaders.All these people were Mennonites and for a time even the church activities were run at the store.If these are your people, I have extensive information.Hope this helps.
