DICK, Mary Anna (born mid-late 1800)
Posted by: Liz Freeman (ID *****1831) Date: January 03, 2003 at 13:44:57
  of 1726

I have just learned of Mary Anna Dick that married Daniel Casner (b.1837 MO d.1877 TX) about 1871 or 1872 probably in Calaveras Co., CA.

The parents of Mary Anna Dick were Moby Indian Dick (b.1825)and Aunt Indian Sally. The Dick family were full blood Indian.

Anyway, Daniel/Dan Casner/Carsner/Carsoner was returning to MO with the intention of returning to CA. He left sometime in 1871/1872. He was killed in West TX in 1-1877. He did not know Mary had a son. Mary never knew what happened to Daniel.

Is there anyone out there that might have information on the Dick family; I would like to fill in the many gaps I have in this information so that it may be passed on to descendnats of this family.
