As the one who did the research on Charles Dick of Union, SC, and is documented to have received a pension for Revolutionary War service, I will say that Charles (or his wife Rebecca) listed Elijah Dick as one of their living children. That is the same Elijah Dick who married Rody Wigginton in St. Clair Co., AL. After Charles death, Rebecca and children Charlotte, Samuel, Elijah and Hardy (Hardin) all removed to St. Clair Co. Charlotte was married Richard Nance. Charles and Rebecca also listed another son who died in the War of 1812. His name was William. Charles was in the same area and often in the same county in SC at the same time with John Dick, who removed to Kentucky. I believe that they were brothers. I have more information on this if anyone is interested. I obtained the records at the National Archives in Washington, DC on one of my trips there. I have recently changed my e-mail address to mholmes102@cox.net.

Also, there is an Elijah Dick who married in Texas around 1850. Samuel and Delilah were in Texas also before going to Arkansas. Hardy died in Mississippi.
