I'm trying to find any information on a John Dick born about 1816 in NY (info from 1860 census). He married Jane Hatch. Jane's father was Horace Hatch, born in Tolland CT, married Rhoda Bixby in Columbia Cty, NY. I'm not exactly sure what County John might be from. My guesses would be Columbia, Dutchess.
John & Jane were married about 1841, but I can not find them in 1850 NY census or IL census. They moved to IL before 1859.
Any thoughts or guesses would be greatly appreciated.
