Looking for information on a Nicholas Dick, my line, who married a Louisa H. Taylor 1-19-1843 in Coles Co. They had 9 children: Margaret(m. a Zaring and a Jones); Josiah ((m. Margaret Taylor); Amariah; Melissa (m. Ranney- my line); Sarah (m. Paschall Thrasher); Merritt; Elizabeth C. (m. Jacob Walters); Albert (m.& d. a Harris and m. Mansfield); and Mary (m. a Hines - another of my lines - different side). Nicholas may have died @ 1875 as Louisa remarried a John Balers in 1876.) Nicholas had a brother Solomon(m. Keran); sisters Catherine (m. Keran) and Mary Ann (m. Tuttle). All four of the Dick siblings I've found to have been born in Kentucky and married Edgar Co., Ill. except for Nicholas who m. in Coles Co. Information would greatly be appreciated.
