Hello,

Does anyone have any information about the ancestry of Lucy Ann Dibble. She married Asaph Atwater 27 May 1772 in Torrington, Litchfield, Connecticut. I know she lived in Torrington at the time of the marriage but I do not know if she was born there. She was born approximately 1748.

I am speculating that she may be the daughter of Thomas Dibble and Hannah Woolworth they were married 1743 in Torrington and had a son Daniel in 1744, the next child isn't listed until 1750, I think Lucy was born between 1744 and 1750 in this family in Torrington, Connecticut.

Lucy also named her olest son Thomas. Can anyone help me prove or disprove this theory? Or just solve the mystery?

Sincerely,
Tami Jenson
