I have new information that proves that John Dibble who married Elizabeth Tucker in 1808 is not the same John Dibble who was b. 7 Apr 1776 in West Bagborough and was buried 10 Jun 1849. The John who married Elizabeth was born about 1791 according to the 1841 Census. The other John Dibble who was born in 1776 married Mary Newton and stayed in West Bagborough. So John who married Elizabeth Tucker is not the son of George Dibble and Joan Parsons. I am working on this John b. 1791 who lived in Dunswear, Bridgewater, Somerset,England to find his correct parents. Sorry for the misunderstanding for any who got the wrong information from me over the years my grandmother got some bad information by correspondence with someone in the area years ago. I am attempting to straighten this mess out.
