I am researching the Brown, Dibble, Palmer, Selleck Slason & Scofield families who migrated from Stamford, Fairfield Co CT to Pound Ridge, Westchester Co NY. This is what I have so far, gleaned from Census records, Military records, "History & Genealogy of Familes of Old Fairfield, Vol 1" compiled by Donald Lines Jacobus, and "Tombstone Records of Eighteen Cemetaries in Poundridge, Westchester NY" by Mable Jordan.
JAMES BROWN b abt 1693 prob Fairfield Co CT m UNKNOWN; settled in Pound Ridge Westchester NY in about 1741, one of the original founders of the community. Have not yet been able to connect him with other Brown families in Fairfield Co CT, or find a marriage record.
His children were:
ELIPHALET BROWN b abt 1723 Fairfield Co CT m Thankful Wood; son Benijah or Benajah Brown b abt 1749 Pound Ridge Westchester Co NY m Sarah Weed and was in Rev War Westchester Militia, 4th Regiment.
EBER or EBENEZER BROWN b abt 1730 Fairfield Co CT; m Mercy Arnold; his children, probably all born Pound Ridge, Westchester Co NY aft 1750 were:

Elizabeth Brown b abt 1776,
Noah Brown b 1770s who married Mary Polly Beebe,

Libbeus Brown was born about 1776 in Pound Ridge, Westchester Co NY
SOLOMON BROWN b abt 1746 Pound Ridge, Westchester Co NY; m Sarah Slason/Slawson/Slosson, daughter of Thomas Slason & Mary Bates; children (that I have found so far) were:
Thankful Brown b abt 1770s Pound Ridge, Westchester Co NY
Elizabeth Brown b abt 1770s Pound Ridge, Westchester Co NY
Samuel Brown b abt 1773 Pound Ridge, Westchester Co NY who married Rheua/Rhuanna/Ruamah (surname possibly Longwell?).
JAMES Jr BROWN b abt 1755 Pound Ridge Westchester Co NY m Unknown

Jonathan Dibble b abt 1817 Pound Ridge, Westchester Co NY m Mary A Coggeshall; was a minister and moved to New York City and is in census there;
SALLY ANN HOYT DIBBLE b April 18, 1815 Pound Ridge, Westchester Co NY m CHARLES SCOFIELD b 1815 Stamford, Fairfield Co CT; they moved to and were married 1831 in New York City, where their children were born, and then in 1840s they settled in Racine Co WI. Sally apparently died young, and Charles remarried, but had no other children. Their children were:
