Hi I am doing a unique study based on the passengers of the “UNION” transport ship, Consett Wilson as Master, that sailed from Huntington Bay (embarkation commenced 11th April completed 16th April 1783) sailed 26th April 1783 And arrived at St John’s River 10th May 1783. I believe the ship went to New York first and apparently 43 passengers disembarked from the 209 on the ship’s lists. The surname of DIBBLEE is included on this list. Specifically: Fyler DIBBLEE (Wife/(3) Children above 10 years/(1) Child younger than 10 years/ 2 Servants) Former Place of Abode: Stamford CT Occupation: Attorney of Law) Walter DIBBLEE (Former Place of Abode: Stamford CT Occupation: Farmer) William DIBBLEE (Former Place of Abode: Stamford CT Occupation: Farmer) If you are related please join the Group so that we can gather as much data about this trip and the people on it. The link is: http://uk.groups.yahoo.com/group/union_passengers/ If anyone has the two servants names please could you let me know. Many Thanks Martyn Hall Notify Administrator about this message?
