Hello All:
My family tree has been traced back to the early Sixteen Hundreds to Tomas Diaz-Blea in Puebla,Mexico.
Fray Angelico Chavez has written that the Blea name is of Basque(Spain)origin.
However,I have not been able to make that connection either through the Blea line nor through the Diaz line.
I have found some Blea in England and Ireland in the early Nineteen Hundreds(no Diaz-Blea just Blea),but I have just not been able to make that connection to Spain.
If anyone has any information which might be of some help to
me I would greatly appreciate it if you would contact me via
this forum or via e-mail.
Thank You all very much for your time and attention.
Robert O. Blea --- kelliegandy@yahoo.com
