Dias, Anna E
Mrs. Anna E. Dias, formerly of Derry, died 6 p.m. Sunday in the County Hospital, Harrisburg. Widow of the late Harry Richard Dias. Born in Derry Twp., June 25, 1880. Daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Stumpf. Surviving children, Mrs. Dolly Waldron, R.D. 1, Derry; Mrs. Lena James, Harrisburg, Mrs. Florence Emminger, and Mrs. Thelma Bunci, both of Bradenville; 25 grandchildren; 63 great-grandchildren; four great-great- grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Stella Baum and Mrs. Lena Schultz, both of Pleasant Unity. Friends may call at the Fisher Funeral Home, Derry. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. (Obit: 8/25/1969)

Dias - Harry Richard, of Donahue Station, died Tuesday night at 7:30 at the home of his aunt, Mrs Lena Schultz. The body will be at the home of his mother, Mrs. Anna E Dias, Second St., Derry, where funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30. Interment in Coral Cemetery. Fisher Funeral Service, Derry, in charge. (Obit: 10/9/1943)

Harry Dias
Crushed under a huge lump of slag, Harry Dias, aged 48, of Blacklick, was fatally injured, at the old McKinney Steel Furnaces, near Josephine, this morning. After receiving first aid attention, he was rushed to the Indiana hospital, where his death occurred at 11;30 o'clock. Mr. Dias was employed as a laborer for the Buffalo Slag Company, of DuBois, which is engaged in taking away slag from the yards of the McKinney Company, which was abandoned a number of years ago. There were many piles of slag in the yard, which workmen were engaged in removing, when a large lump of slag started rolling down one of the piles and crushed Dias under it. (Obit: 5/18/1929)

Mrs. Thelma A. (Dias) Buncie, 73, of Bradenville died Jan. 24, 1982, in Latrobe Area Hospital. She was born in Indiana County May 9, 1909, a daughter of the late Harry R. and Anna E. Stump Dias. She was a member of St. Rose Roman Catholic Church and a retired employee of Toyad Corp. She was predeceased in death by three brothers. She is survived by her husband, George T. Buncie Sr.; four sons, Donald E. of Latrobe RD 4, George T. Jr. and Roy, both of Jersey City, N.J., and Richard of Blairsville; three daughters, Mrs. James (Margaret) Knupp of Luxor and Evelyn Buncie and Barbara Buncie, both of Bradenville; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, and three sisters, Mrs. Lena James of Pleasant Unity, Mrs. Dollie Waldron of Millwood and Mrs. Florence Emminger of Bradenville. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 pm Monday and 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm Tuesday in John J. Lopatich Funeral Home, Latrobe. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9 am Wednesday in St. Rose Roman Catholic Church with Rev Julius Stefurosky officiating. Interment will follow in St. Rose Cemetery.
