Does anyone have knowledge of Nancy Dearmond Diamons, born 1806, in TN, probably Washington or Greeene Co., and moved into Blount County, TN, marrying John Alexander Brown, son of Joseph Brown and possibly Elizabeth Click, (we believe) and they had several children, among them, William A. Brown, Effa, Dorcas, and other children? John Brown is such a common name, I want to find out for certain if this is the wife of my husband's ancestor. William A. Brown was the father of Charles Houston Brown, and he was the father of Charles Evans Brown, 1916-2005; all these Brown men had farms in the Middlesettlements area, probably settling there when it was the state of Franklin or soon after, around 1800.
