My great grandfather was John Thomas Diamond. I think his wifes name was Catherine. From what I understand, he was born on the boat between Ireland and New York. He train cavalry horses for the army and eventually ended up in Buffalo Bills West Show, I know for at least a year because we have his certificate of a years completed service in the company. My grandfather was Francais Xavier. Some of his family stayed in N.Y.C. and became policemen. Some went to W.V. to mine. He went to the Albany area and became a dairy farmer. He married into the famous Ingalls-Wilder family to my grandmother Ruth Ann.
