Diamond side of the family is from Dekalb Co., Ga. My Great Grandfather was George Washington Diamond, he had 10 brothers and sisters and had 10 children, some of the family came to Texas before the Civil War while others remained in GA. I have all of their names and birthdays and some of their children. They first settled in Houston and then move to Gainsville, Texas. George and four of his brother were in the Civil War. Either his mother or wife's name was Susan Frances. I know that he had a brother and son name James. If you would like more information let me know.
