Note that the name Diamond is very common in areas of Co.Derry/Londonderry as now and in former times.There are many people with the name in the area especially around the towns of Magherafelt,Maghera and Bellaghy and others and in the surrounding countryside.Most Catholic cemeteries in the area have Diamond headstones going way back.I see many people looking for Irish source area and this would be a good place to target for ancestral links.Good searching and greetings from the Emerald Isle.= M.Higgins
